Head in the clouds
We've been spending a fair amount of time, along with marketing guru Alistair of Rednod, analyzing technology trends (grid computing, virtualization, mobile networks, "web 2.0" etc...) and their impact on the co-evolution of users and applications.
Nothing seems as big as cloud computing, a wave we've been surfing since earlier this year at Interop Unconference and Bitcurrent, where we discuss internetworking and web technologies.

Gartner might argue that this is par for the "tech hype cycle" but based on our our vantage point on both adoption and innovation, there is more to the trend than just hype - cloud computing is unlikely to come back down to earth.
